Celebrating the life of
Diane Rollins Sayler
October 24, 1954 - June 29, 2025

Born October 24, 1954, Diane was raised in Savannah, Georgia by her mother, Cornelia Rollins. She attended Grady Nursing School and graduated in 1973. Diane married Robin Sayler in 1976 and they had three children. She worked the majority of her life as a pediatric nurse, caring for children in Highlands, NC; St Petersburg, FL; and Savannah, GA. She was an active member of churches in each city where she lived, and loved to volunteer in her community. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and baking. She was a dog person until her young children brought home a stray cat and talked her into keeping it, without realizing they had adopted an expectant mother. She was firmly a cat person from then on.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Cornelia Rollins; her sister, Pam Rollins; and her ex-husband, Robin Sayler. She leaves behind the three children she raised, Aaron (Becky), Mary Phillips (Sam), and Elizabeth Klempner (Jason). She had 7 grandchildren who she loved dearly: Gabi, Lily, Sunny, Charlie, David, Rose, and E'Eazzen. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her name to the Children's Miracle Network, to continue her legacy of caring for children in need of medical care.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. Hilton Head Presbyterian Church, 233 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, SC, followed by a private graveside service in Greenwich Cemetery, Savannah, GA.
